Being an island with warm Mediterranean weather means that Mallorca has plenty of different places where you can watch the sunset. Whether you prefer to watch the sun set over the mountains, the sea, or a bit of both, I’ve made a list of where I think are the best places to enjoy some of Mallorca’s most beautiful sunsets.
Tower del verger
This little tower is located in a lay by in between Banyalbufar and Estellencs. There are a few parking spaces nearby where you can stop the car and climb up a small ladder to the top of the tower. The sunsets from here are really beautiful over the west side of Mallorca and across the sea.

Cap de Formentor
Cap de Formentor is located on the north west side of Mallorca with panoramic views of the sea and the rest of the island. Drive up to the top and walk to the lighthouse which is an incredible backdrop to watch the sunset.

Sa Forada
Sa Forada is probably one of the most popular places to watch the sunset in Mallorca. There is a bar and restaurant here so you can enjoy a mojito or a glass of wine whilst watching the sunset over the ocean. The most popular day to watch it is probably on a Sunday and in the summertime there’s music playing too.
Sant Elm
Sant Elm is special because from here you can see the uninhabited island of Sa Dragonera across the horizon. The island gets its name from its dragon-like shape which creates a gorgeous backdrop to watch the sunset over.

Galilea
If you love the countryside and nature watching, Galilea is a nice place to watch the sunset over the forests. You get a good view in the background of the ocean but all the way down you can watch the gardens and the natural areas.
